Year 1 Buttercups have had a great time this week baking cakes!

In English we have been learning about words that rhyme; particularly 'cake', 'bake' and 'make'. We have also been learning and using vocabulary related to cake baking. We all contributed to mixing, pouring, cooking, icing, sprinkling and (most importantly!) tasting.

Year 3 celebrated World Book Day by dressing up in their favourite book character. UNCRC, Article 12: All children have the right to be listened to and make choices.

Lower School have enjoyed constructing various buildings and objects in Lego Club. UNCRC, Article 29: We have the right to have our creative skills developed.

Y1 made and ate popcorn as part of our learning about the ‘p’ sound.
