Year 3 start the preparation for their garden. Article 31 of the UNCRC states that all children have the right to participate in a range of activities and Y3 are clearly enjoying that right as they create a beautiful garden!

In Bucket Time this afternoon, we explored spring flowers. We painted trees and added pink blossom. This links with our right to relax and play (UNCRC Article 31)

Year 3 demonstrated their right to join together to celebrate Pancake Day. Everyone enjoyed choosing their favourite topping. UNCRC, Article 24: All children have the right to choose healthy food.

Year 3 celebrated World Book Day by dressing up in their favourite book character. UNCRC, Article 12: All children have the right to be listened to and make choices.
