Longwill School for the Deaf
Welcome to Longwill School for the Deaf, a specialist school for Deaf children aged 2 to 11 in Birmingham. We provide a safe, ambitious and language-rich education through a sign-bilingual approach, with British Sign Language (BSL) and English used in parallel so that children can access learning, communication and identity.
We believe Deafness is a difference to celebrate. Our pupils are supported to become curious, resilient and independent learners who are proud of who they are and confident about their future.
Our purpose is to equip Deaf children with the knowledge, skills and self-belief to lead happy, independent and fulfilling lives.
